- Learners will understand how to design a web page

MODULE OUTLINE
Module 1: Introduction to web documents
WWW, Web browser, Web page, Web site, Web server, Static web page, Dynamic web page, Active web page, URL, Web programming: client side and server side scripting.
Module 2: Introduction to HTML 5
HTML 5: Document Structure, Elements, Attributes. Overview of HTML 5 –Basic Formatting Tags: heading, paragraph, break, underline, bold, italic, font and image. Attributes: align, color, background color, font face, border, size, and navigation links using anchor tag: internal, external.
Module 3: Introduction to CSS:
CSS: Introduction - Concept of CSS, Creating Style Sheet: inline, internal, and external style sheet. CSS Properties, CSS Styling: Background, Text Format, Controlling Fonts - Working with CSS ID and Class.
