  • To incorporate enabling provisions in Research Policies for the recruitment of research personnel, procurement of essential equipment, and financial autonomy for Principal Investigators, ensuring effective dissemination of research outcomes to stakeholders and the public.
  • To create a dedicated framework for promoting researchers and innovators, identifying potential collaborators from industry, research organizations, and academic institutions to foster synergistic partnerships.
  • To serve as a bridge between researchers and funding agencies, providing guidance on project proposal preparation, submission, and ensuring timely execution of funded projects.
  • To enhance coordination among various institutional centers dealing with University-Industry Linkages, Incubation, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development, and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
  • To develop an Institutional Research Information System for tracking and sharing ongoing and completed research projects, expertise, and resources, leveraging Information & Communication Technology (ICT) for an in-house expert database to support industrial consultancy and services.
  • To engage experienced superannuated faculty and scientists in mentoring young researchers and facilitating researcher mobility across institutions and R&D laboratories.
  • To function as a central hub for ideation and conceptualization of research themes by organizing workshops, training programs, and ensuring research integrity, ethical compliance, and necessary bioethical clearances.
