1.Post Matric Scholarship for Minority Community Students (I Degree & I PG)


Post-matric scholarship for minorities is provided by the Ministry of Minority Affairs and is reserved for the students belonging to minority communities. The aim of this scholarship is the upliftment of the minority by giving them support for education. According to the Government of India, Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Zoroastrians (Parsis) and Jains are notified as minority communities.  The eligibility of the Scholarship is to secure not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh

2. Central Sector Scholarship On the basis of Higher Secondary Marks

The “Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students” is implemented by the Department of Higher Education since 2008. The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the meritorious students, to meet a part of their day-to-day expenses while pursuing higher studies. The eligibility criteria are the following;

Students who are above 80th percentile of successful candidates in the relevant stream from a particular Board of Examination in Class XII

 · Pursuing regular course

· Having family income of less than Rs.6 lakh per annum

· Not receiving any other scholarship
