  • Maintain contact with LISSAH alumni, psychology students of other colleges and associations.

(SEA)

SEA (Students of English Association) envisages providing the students of English with a common platform on which they can share their ideas and improve their potentials.

  • Improve the language skills of the students.
  • Provide an opening for students in to the wide and rich world of English Literature through Seminars/Debates/Discussions etc
  • Liaison with the Department of English in other colleges in order to be touch with the latest developments in the field of English teaching and new trends in literature.
  • Organize Workshops on Theatre and practices
  • Plans to publish a monthly News Bulletin
  • Conduct activities for Journalism and Audio- Visual Studies.
  • Organizing film festivals.
  • Making Short Films/Documentaries etc. for exposure and competitions.
  • Publish an exclusive portfolio of Poems, Short stories, Articles etc. under the banner ‘SEA Shells’.
A LISSAH
ENVIRONMENTAL LOVERS ASSOCIATION
(ALELA)

In order to promote an eco friendly campus, LISSAH students have put forward the first step by organizing a nature friendly club in the college as ALELA on the 11th December 2006.

Aim:

  • Save our mother earth.

Objectives:

  • To develop an environmental awareness around the campus
  • To develop environmental friendly attitude in LISSAH students.
  • To motivate the students to work for the protection of environment
NSS
(NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME)

A unit of the National Service Scheme (unit no:223) was formally launched at LISSAH on 24th September 2007. The unit conducted different discussions on various social issues.

RED RIBBON CLUB

The red Ribbon club is a voluntary campus intervention programme for students in educational institutions. It is initiated and supported by the Kerala state AIDS Control Society(KSACS) and implemented through multi sectoral collaboration, particularly using the services of cadre officers of the states national Service Scheme(NSS)

Role of Red Ribbon Club:

Educating youth in the field of HIV/AIDS and other related issues. Enable youth especially the female students, to identify and understand situations of exploitations. Organize and facilitate voluntary blood donation camp and mobilize the youth for voluntary blood donation.
